About the Position

Do you want to work in a role where you make a real difference for customers when it truly matters? We are now looking for a claims lawyer who will primarily work with liability and legal protection cases. With us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the security of our customers through your commitment, knowledge, and ability to handle cases according to applicable insurance terms and legislation.

As a claims lawyer, you will be part of a small team of specialists working with claims handling in legal protection, liability, and construction damages. The work is primarily digital and via phone, where you will independently be responsible for the entire claims process – from the first customer contact and investigation to decisions on compensation and potential payment. You will also handle administrative tasks.

In this role, you will:

• Investigate and assess whether liability for damages exists for the policyholder
• Communicate with legal representatives, policyholders, and other concerned parties
• Independently make decisions on compensation issues based on insurance terms, practice, and legislation

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a law degree or equivalent legal competence, preferably with experience in legal protection and liability claims handling. You have an interest in tort law and are accustomed to expressing yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Experience in claims handling, investigation, and negotiation work is an advantage.

More Information

The position is a full-time temporary position for 12 months based in Vänersborg. You will belong to the Business Area of Claims and report to the department head for Property Damage. We apply ongoing selection, so please submit your application as soon as possible. Start date is according to agreement.
